The maintenance method for the NCB rotor pump after use is as follows:

☆ During the operation of the NCB rotor pump, the bearing temperature should not exceed the ambient temperature of 35C and the temperature should not exceed 80C

Within the first month of operation, the NCB rotor pump needs to change the lubricating oil after 100 hours, and then every 500 hours

☆ Start the motor, and when the Roots pump is running normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and Roots pump. After observing the appropriate pressure displayed, gradually open the gate valve and check the motor load condition.

☆ Try to control the flow rate and head of the Roots pump within the range indicated on the label, and operate the Roots pump at the efficiency point to achieve energy-saving effects

☆ Check for any looseness in the Roots pump pipeline and joints. Rotate the Roots pump by hand and see if it is flexible

☆ After reassembly, a trial run should be carried out. Generally, it needs to run for 2 hours without load and change the oil twice, as there will be a specific amount of volatile substances left in the Roots pump during cleaning. After normal operation, it can be put into normal operation.

In general, after 2000 hours of operation, the NCB rotor pump should be repaired to check the aging degree of the rubber seal, check whether the exhaust valve plate is cracked, and clean the dirt that settles on the valve plate and exhaust valve seat. Clean the parts inside the entire Roots pump chamber, such as rotor, rotor, spring, etc. Generally, clean with gasoline and dry. After cleaning the rubber parts, wipe them dry with a dry cloth. When cleaning and assembling, handle with care to avoid damage

☆ Regularly check the oil level position of the NCB rotor pump, and adjust it to meet the requirements if it does not meet the requirements. When the Roots pump is running, the oil level should reach the oil mark

☆ Regularly check the oil quality, and if the oil deteriorates, replace it with new oil in a timely manner. The Roots pump is working normally.

The oil change period shall be determined at the discretion of the user based on actual usage conditions and whether the performance requirements can be met. When removing clean and dry gas from a typical New Roots pump, it is recommended to change the oil every 100 hours of operation. After the black metal powder is not visible in the oil, the oil change period can be appropriately extended in the future

☆ Add bearing lubricating oil into the bearing body, observe that the oil level should be at the line on the oil mark, and the lubricating oil should be replaced or replenished in a timely manner

☆ Regularly adjust the packing gland to ensure that the leakage inside the packing chamber is normal (preferably in drops)

When the NCB rotor pump needs to be stopped, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, and then stop the motor
