The common faults and countermeasures of KCG high-temperature gear oil pump are as follows:

(1) Fault phenomenon: The pump cannot discharge material

Fault cause:

a. The rotation direction is opposite

B. Close the suction or discharge valve

C. There is no material at the inlet or the pressure is too low

D. The viscosity is too high, and the pump cannot bite the material

Countermeasures:

a. Confirm the direction of rotation

B. Confirm whether the valve is closed

C. Check the valve and pressure gauge

D. Check the viscosity of the liquid and check if there is a flow rate proportional to the speed when operating at low speed. If there is a flow rate, it indicates insufficient flow. (2) Fault phenomenon: insufficient pump flow. (p) Fault cause: (p) Close the suction or discharge valve

B. Low inlet pressure

C. Blocked outlet pipeline

D. Leakage in the packing box

Countermeasures:

a. Confirm whether the valve is closed;

(3) Fault phenomenon: Abnormal sound

Fault cause:

a. Excessive eccentricity or poor lubrication of the coupling

b. Motor failure

C. Abnormal gearbox

D. Poor installation of shaft seal

Countermeasures:

a. Align or fill with lubricating grease

B. Check the motor

C. Check the bearings and gears

D. Check the shaft seal

(4) Fault phenomenon: Excessive current

Fault cause:

a. Excessive outlet pressure

B. Excessive melt viscosity

C. Poor assembly of shaft seals

Countermeasures:

a. Check downstream equipment and pipelines

B. Check viscosity

C. Check the shaft seal and adjust it appropriately

D. Check after parking and manually turn the car to see if it is too heavy

(5) Fault phenomenon: pump suddenly stops

Fault cause:

a, power outage

B. Motor overload protection

C. Coupling damage

D. If the outlet pressure is too high, interlocking reaction occurs

E. Abnormal biting inside the pump

f. The shaft and bearing are stuck due to adhesion

Countermeasures:

a. Check the power supply

B. Check the motor

C. Open the stability cover and perform a turning inspection

D. Check the instrument interlocking system

E. After parking, confirm the front and back rotating carts
