(1) Open the inlet valve and adjust the water volume to an appropriate level. At this time, due to the suction effect of the previous stage pump, the gas in the system being pumped is pumped through the LC Roots pump. Due to the pressure difference, it produces rotation. When this phenomenon weakens with the decrease of pressure in the system, the LC Roots pump stops rotating(2) When the pressure in the system reaches the allowable starting and working pressure of the LC Roots pump, start it step by step. After starting the equipment, pay attention to the temperature rise and current situation of the pump. If overheating or high current is found, stop the LC Roots pump and check the cause. It is not allowed to stop the previous stage pump (oil-free vacuum pump) while the LC Roots pump is workingTherefore, in addition to conducting a trial run before starting the Roots oil pump, everyone should strictly follow the correct startup procedure to ensure a smooth start of the equipment. Although the performance conditions of the equipment determine its excellent working efficiency, many users have expressed that its working efficiency is not as expected.

Working steam and its dryness: Low steam pressure and pressure fluctuations have a significant impact on the ability of vacuum pumps. Therefore, steam pressure should not be lower than the required working pressure, otherwise it will cause the Roots pump to fail to operate normally, indirectly leading to a decrease in working efficiency2. Circulating cooling water: If the cooling water supply is insufficient, the condenser will heat up, the airflow sound will increase, the vacuum degree will decrease, and even the steam will return to the exhaust pipe, which will affect the working efficiency of the equipment3. System sealing of Roots pump: When the Roots pump is in operation, the water discharged from the front stage is very small, sometimes even non-existent. Therefore, if a large amount of water is discharged from the front pump, it can be considered that there is a leakage in the system. Once leaked, it will seriously affect the efficiency of the equipment4. Nozzles: Nozzles are important components that affect the performance of vacuum pumps, but due to their working nature, they can easily cause blockages and affect the efficiency of the equipmentTherefore, when you find that the working efficiency of the Roots pump is not satisfactory, you can first investigate whether there are any abnormal conditions in the four parts mentioned above.
