1、 Leakage caused by the medium conveyed by the circular arc pump

(1) The medium is relatively dirty

The hard particulate matter in the medium enters the sealing surface between the dynamic and static rings of the circular arc pump during operation, causing abnormal wear of the sealing surface and forming grooves or even grooves on the sealing surface; Impurity scaling adheres to the sealing end face, damaging its flatness and smoothness, resulting in the inability to form a stable liquid film; Impurities deposit in the elastic element, making it unable to compensate axially, resulting in separation of the sealing surfaces of the dynamic and static rings and leakage

(2) Corrosion of Media

In media containing halogen elements such as fluorine, chlorine, odor, iodine, etc., springs will undergo stress corrosion, and under long-term action, spring fracture will occur. In acidic and alkaline media, the surface of graphite rings will corrode, making the contact surface rough and unable to form a liquid film, resulting in failure and leakage.

; Similarly, in acidic and alkaline media, the auxiliary sealing ring can also be corroded, causing leakage at the static sealing point of the circular arc pump

2. Installation of the moving and stationary rings of the circular arc gear pump

(1) Installation of the stationary ring

First, insert the stationary ring seal ring from the rear of the stationary ring to avoid rolling during operation;

; Press the static ring evenly and forcefully into the pressure cover. When pressing in, pay attention to aligning the groove of the static ring with the anti rotation pin on the pressure cover; Check the verticality between the end face of the static ring and the centerline of the gland, and control it within 0.02mm

(2) Installation of Moving Ring

When installing the moving ring, the compression amount of the circular gear pump should be determined first, and then the position of the spring seat top screw in the mechanical seal device should be accurately determined based on the compression amount of the circular gear pump.

. Staff need to pay special attention when installing the moving ring. When determining the compression amount of the circular gear pump, the axial displacement of the pump shaft of the circular gear pump should be included in its compression amount, otherwise the final result obtained will be inaccurate

After installing the moving ring of the circular arc gear pump, the staff also needs to check its floatability to see if it meets the elasticity and flatness requirements of the mechanical sealing device

If there is no leakage or if the amount of leakage is small and gradually decreasing, then the device can be considered intact and can be put into production use. If the leakage is gradually increasing, the cause of the leakage should also be identified and reinstalled
